A Covid Casualty I did not know until today

My favorite medium-sized graphics and printing shop is now empty space, with empty windows, empty floors, and empty doors. A former work colleague, a dual-citizenship Brit/Yank, had started the business some years ago and had moved into larger, newer, more impressive facilities in the last few years, and I had taken work to him and his company did a very good job on all of them. He shunned large corporate work and was very much in favor of the personable “stop by and we can discuss the project” approach to satisfying customers, and all transactions required at least a few face-to-face meetings. Covid killed it. Bummer. I had a new job for him today, and all I got was empty, empty, and more empty.
