I have not yet succeeded in creating stories from my words and drawings combined into a graphic form. I am good with words and stories and create passable drawings by hand, but the time it takes me to finish a drawing is excessive and impractical for using my drawings as an equal part of the story. Bummer. My writing guru was correct in referring me to the author Alison Bechdel’s “Fun Home” as an example of what to strive for. Onward!
