The artist prefers that deliveries happen earlier in the day. At one point, mid-post-meridian was fine to begin. The change requires shaving one hour to one and one-half hours off that start time. This means that after noon and before sunset shall no longer get bisected and shall get trisected, suggesting a beginning time of two-post-meridian. Ok then.

Privilege
Boons from my higher power when I am ready for them. Too soon, and I will not understand what to do with them. Too late, and my body cannot take advantage of them. Just right, and I appreciate them very much. Thank you.
The Covid Call
One year is how long our face-to-face IRL communication lapse lasted. Travel, dual-coast living, business, and covid made it a challenge to just hang out and chat face-to-face, where more intimacy in topics and tone can occur. The Easter Holiday, religiously observed by some groups within our blood relations, was the impetus for the long journey this family member made to join a gathering of the family on the Saturday prior to Easter Sunday. I did not deviate from my rule of constant mask-wearing in groups, both indoors and outdoors. My mask was a true N95 disposable, and I kept it tightly on during all four hours of our gathering at my son’s spacious and well-ventilated mountain home. Most of my time was spent on the various outdoor patios. For one continuous 15-minute conversation indoors in the kitchen, I was within six inches of the mouth of my son’s wife, who does not wear masks. Although this proximity violated my personal covid safety rules, I allowed myself to take the risk because she had traveled so far to be with the family and because she had very good information she was sharing about setting up legal end-of-life documents. She seemed fine, healthy, clear-eyed, and good-spirited. On Monday, at mid-morning, I received a direct call on my mobile phone from her. She was direct, sincere, and apologetic. She told me she tested positive for Covid earlier that morning, and that I needed to observe for symptoms, then take whatever action was needed in case I am infected. I shall do so.
PigTok
Saturday before Easter Sunday, family gathering, informal. The rain stopped earlier, so we could gather outside, although I remained masked. Nice temperature ๐ Sad visual of a partially completed large wooden shed with pressed-wood panels being swollen and ruined by the wet weather. Discount store purchase by another family member, who did not plan on being out of the USA on travel and did not have anybody to finish the job. Money lost ๐ฆ Visitors discussed the trials and tribulations of transporting family pet pigs across the country and keeping the pigs safe from the bears where they live.
Well Hung
Measure, noting friction points that may need lube to avoid squeaky-squealy sounds that might be off-putting to some occupants.
Choose from in-swingers, out-swingers, or dual-swingers. Get only the swingers you want.
Consider what might be available in other rooms nearby, and choose those that reflect your personal taste.
Choose to do it yourself, or ask a professional for help.
To ensure maximum satisfaction, make sure all your interior and exterior doors are well hung.
Patio Chill
The ship did sink. Garbage does stink. Desire does wink. The thought makes me think. Everybody is pretty in pink. The armor has a chink. We are on the brink. It will be a useful link. The couple is a DINK.
Wood Heat
Nothing better. Great wood stove; good dry oak and madrone with a tad of fir kept our home at a perfect temperature year-round in our mountain habitat. Our stove and triple-wall lined metal chimney was mounted and sealed perfectly, and rose above all nearby rooftops, ensuring excellent airflow. The only pollution we contributed was during the first few minutes after starting the stove, after which only clean and invisible heat rose from the chimney. The physical labor required to keep the wood supply sorted and protected kept me fit. The scent of the burning local wood was subtle, gentle, and relaxed my mind. Most other wood stove installations in our area were poorly done and produced smoke throughout the day, and depending on what the occupants threw into the stove from household waste, stank substantially. The County authorities decided we should not be allowed to heat with wood because of the air pollution from stoves that were not ventilated and chimneyed properly. Bummer. We did not have the financial resources to fight the decision in court and henceforth had to find other ways to heat our home. Nothing has been as natural and wonderful.
The Breeder Reaps
The just-arrived visitors are hesitant after years of absence, yet slightly smiling in a portent of what will probably be a good time. Three of Shakespeare’s Ages are on the stage, with two just-teens, one early forty, two nearly eighty. All shuffle around, adjust their covid-masks and find a perch. The comfortable rocking chairs, especially for family visitors, are mostly ignored, and the two nearly-eighties take roost in them, a natural choice. All five are related by the blood of family and exhibit family behaviors in varying displays of speaking and doing. The just-teens appear to the nearly-eighties as being healthier, more relaxed and loving, and more intelligent than ever before observed. The lingering worry over the older just-teen fades away, and gentle gratitude is sent to a higher power. The visit disrupts the careful plans of the nearly-eighties, and reaping the physical cost of a family visit is inevitable. Reaping the benefits of love shared during the visit disrupts the loneliness and depression often worn as a daily garment, and gentle gratitude is sent to a higher power.
Fools, Thicks, and Empties
The rise is on. Calculations predict more infections. Obvious, eh?
Well, I believe that pestilential invasions do what pestilential invasions do. Other than a food and reproductive host to our current pestilential invasion, I do not exist. I tried shaking hands with initial representatives of the pestilential invasion and was grabbed roughly by those who love me and told to behave defensively. Wear a mask, wear protective gloves, wear a face shield, and wear clothing that stays out in the shed after stripping off upon returning home. I pretend to be a cautious person, but if my mind says to do something, I do it. I see Fools without masks, I see Thicks without the capability to learn, I see Empties without compassion for themselves and others.
I wear a mask always. I wear gloves always. Most folks seem to appreciate the effort I make ๐
