A concerned citizen has informed the US Army Corps of Engineers that a possible violation has occurred with Mr. Gaffney’s proposed “Pump Track” to be constructed in front of the existing and historically significant Felton Covered Bridge, which is located inside and adjacent to a Santa Cruz County Park that is under Mr. Gaffney’s jurisdiction and responsibility. The US Army Corps of Engineers has agreed to evaluate the situation and will be getting back to the concerned citizen within a few days.

The beauty in SLV we already have:
> Santa Cruz Mountains
> About 35 thousand people
> Millions of Redwood Trees
> Felton, Ben Lomond, Brookdale, Boulder Creek, and Zayante (Census Designated Places)
> San Lorenzo River
> Big Basin, Castle Rock, Henry Cowell
Please keep Felton Covered Bridge Park beautiful
Looking forward to the publication of Jayme Ackermann’s “…forming a Community Advisory Committee…” in November, in the San Lorenzo Valley Post, November 2023 issue.
Government representatives are not responding to requests for information, advice on how to proceed, advice on how to get community input, and recommendations for resolutions of differences in the “Yay” or “Nay”, when the time comes.
Hopeful.
